Welcome back, ladies!
Our first meeting of the new year will be THIS SUNDAY January 30th. It’s going to be an important one so please try to be there! We’ll be discussing FUTURE LEADERSHIP (… like I said, super important).

This week’s meeting will be dedicated to discussion plans for the Black Men’s Apperciation Dinner (BMAD)! We’ll be meeting in Harambee Lounge at 8 PM.

This Thursday The League meeting will be devoted to beginning a series of workshops this year concerning the topic of beauty. We’ll be watching clips from Darryl Roberts’ “America The Beautiful”, a documentary about America’s obsession with living up to unattainable standards of beauty, especially in light of how the media and consumerism affect this growing problem. There will be plenty of time for discussion, so please come and bring your perspective!
